Well, I finally have something to post about.
Last night at church in the middle of the meeting all of the sudden the power started to flicker, the air conditioners were flickering. So i went outside to call bob or brett our church electricians to say hey somethings going on with the power. I couldnt get a hold of them. So i found Tim, and we went arround back to check the power and could hear one of the boxes buzzing and noticed the transent voltage supressior (a whole building surge protector) was also flashing. Saw a neighbor outside the gate looking up, so we looked up and noticed that the power line was on fire coming into the building. We then went arround front to go call the FD and found that they had already showed up from the neighbor calling. The FD then proceeded to put out the fire falling to the ground. and waited for Roseville Electric to show up. Bob showed up. The fire captian who i knew from all my dealing with fire department then asked bob to shut off the mains, so we went back to do it, and as we did it the overhead power cable started to spark and flash and we had a little firework show. Then I said to bob "Ill see ya later bob im outta here, dont die now" hehe, then the power cable fell to the ground!!!!! bob jumped a bit but he knew it was dead LOeanwhile the they contined to have church in the building. it was 100 degrees and it was oddly humid outside. So the inside of the building with 270 people was turning into a suana. But they stayed and, Pastor Francis finished his message, and they had an alter call, with the lights out, air out, and people went forward, and stayed. It was wild. at 9:30 i went home and hung out, then decided to call before going to bed to see if power was restored, it was so i went back, all of two blocks away to test everything. surprisingly the only things that had issues were the air conditioners, but they seem to be ok now. well most of them anyways. So that was my little fun story for the day.

| Well, Life is pretty crazy right now. Next week is the dry run for the Tower Theater service. I am excited about that, but at the same time it will require alot of work to make it all happen. This week i have to learn the lighting system at Tower, i mean its a real theater so talk about an advanced lighting system! Also we are installing 2 projection systems and tying that all in will be crazy. So Pray for me that we can get it all installed.
Also i miss the Lydells, I havent really got to spend alot of quality time with them over the past couple months. Just with there life being busy and my life being busy there just hasnt been a good connection. I got to be over there today to hang out with June and the cats because Dina had to go to work super early and wasnt going to be home until super late so she asked me to go hang out to feed the animals and such. It was good just hanging out over there, i didnt realize how long it had been until i walked into the laundry room, i mean i knew that got a new washing machine and dryer but these things are beautiful. I do have to say the coolest looking washer and dryer i have ever seen. I think i would be excited about washing clothes if i had something that cool looking hehe. Also i couldnt find the dog food, it wasnt were it use to be, now its in the backyard hehe.oh well, i did feed the dog hehe. speaking of The Dog, June was really excited to see me, she would not leave me alone the whole time i was there, she was really happy the whole time to. So all that being said hopefully both there schedule and mine will be a bit more free sometime soon because i really miss them.
Well i best be off to bed, in case Riverside calls me in the morning. I am hoping that they dont i really just want to hang out and home tomorrow and not leave until i have to go to work tuesday morning. :D that would be nice eh? hopefully! common rest!

There was a story that KCRA did last night on Myspace that has a lot to do with underage myspace users. Myspace is very dangerous for those young who like to venture out onto other people's profiles that they dont know. I love you all, But i just want to encourage you if you are one of the Point Blank or Epic Kids to be careful out there on Myspace. Myspace is the 3rd most visited website in the Nation. There are many Sexual predators out there. There have been 3 incidents in Folsom in the last few months with young kids getting fooled into meeting someone that weren't who they said they were.

| Another update, whoho!!!!
Well its almost 4am and i am up still. I didnt get home from work today until 11:30pm, i went in late but was NOT expecting to work that late. But i had to in order to not work durring the day saturday. I was working on Honors Banquet Stuff, tracking down the crazyness that i had on thursday (i will explain), and doing my normal announcement stuff.
I do have to say, World of Warcraft... IT TAKES FOR FREAKING EVER TO REINSTALL! and you better make sure you dont get your room mates disk mixed up with your disks or it wont install, sheesh variations on the distro's, can you believe it! anyways, it is installing right now, and has been for like 30 minutes.
So, Thursday.... well about the time i got back from lunch with Jack and Mike i got told the internet and phones were not working. I had a doctors appointment that took 2 hours to go to right then, so they had to live with the problem for the time i was gone. While at the doctors office i tried to talk Kenny through a complete reset of every piece of equipment we have, with no avail. So I got back and did a reset of my own, and then I noticed something back at our nifty cool HP Procurve 4000m managed switch. EVERYTHING WAS FLOORED! the little lights that normally blink when there is activity were SOLID LIT! that means something was broadcasting ALOT of stinking data EVERYWHERE! so i went through and unplugged stuff one by one and found the culprit, but then i spent a couple hours trying to find out what exactally it was i unplugged. I COULD NOT FIND IT! so today i was upset about it and spent some more time trying to track it down. I got some good insight from Paul Swagerty and Matthew Stroup of some things to try. so i cold reset the HP switch because it was configured for our old school static ip address network thats now DHCP. so i got on the switch and it was amazing what it told me, that TWO ports were freaking out not just one, and they were right next to each other. so then i setup a monitor port and took my laptop back there, hooked up both cables that were freaking out, and tapped into all the data being pushed accross the network on the monitor port with ethereal. I found out it was all coming from the cubicles. then i remember we had a baby switch over there because the cubes were an after thought of the network. someone had connected the baby switch up twice useing two cables to our network and it was causing a crazy loopback issue. so i fixed that, and all is well. Crazy, spent HOURS on this, HOURS of frustrations, but its all good now!

WoW is almost done installing but then comes time for the patches, whoho another 30 minutes. i swear the longest install of a game ever.
Oh Tyler I got a copy of Generals, not sure if you still play it, i know i havent yet. But Steve-o came in my office and asked me if i wanted to buy it for cheap because it was a mistake or something and it couldnt be taken back. No i dont have the expantion, but maybe we could play over the net sometime.

Hey this game is worth it. best game on the planet. worth the $16 a month and the hassle of the reinstall.
